The 1-1 draw left the Seagulls fifth in the table, four points adrift of leaders Torquay
LOUIS Britton snatched a 90th-minute equaliser at promotion rivals Worthing as Weston-super-Mare avoided a third successive defeat in the National League South, writes Keith Watson .
The 1-1 draw left the Seagulls fifth in the table, four points adrift of leaders Torquay, with the top seven clubs separated by just six points – although Weston do have games in hand on most of their fellow challengers.
Worthing looked to have nicked the points when Remiero Moulton struck from 20 yards on 83 minutes, but Britton, pictured, pounced on an error at the death.
At the other end of the table, Chippenham had a nightmare day at home to Chesham, losing 4-1 after being four goals down by the 39th minute.
Alex Lafleur gave the visitors a 16th-minute lead, and Mitchell Weiss soon made it two. Matt Lench and Connor Stevens made it three and four, while the reply came from Callum Wood ten minutes from time.
Salisbury, meanwhile, went down 3-0 at high-flying Dorking. Pat Casey, Brennan Camp and Jason Prior got the goals.
Bath City did not have a league game – instead they beat Street 5-0 in the Somerset Premier Cup.
