Guided tours of Bridgerton filming spots are coming to Bath

A guided tour of the sites used in the filming of Bridgerton will be coming to Bath as soon as coronavirus rules allow.

This Christmas the saucy period drama took our screens by storm and picked up the title of Netflix’s “most popular show yet“.

Though set in London, much of the series was filmed in Bath and featured iconic sites like the Royal Crescent.

Now, GoTours have planned a day trip from London to take in Wilton House on the outskirts of Salisbury, before moving on to Bath.

During the pitstop in Wiltshire, fans can imagine themselves on the steps of Clyvedon Castle alongside the Duke of Hastings; while in Bath, they can play the part of Daphne Bridgerton.

Places like Trim Street, the Holburne Museum and Bath Street formed the backdrop to the series, and fans will have the chance to tread the same cobblestones as their Regency counterparts.

Led by a “friendly driver-guide”, groups of no more than 16 people will visit locations like “Featherington House” and “Lady Danbury’s Residence”.

After the tour, the fans will be let loose on the city with just a map to guide them, before returning to London that evening.

No price has yet been set for the tickets, but Bridgerton-lovers can find more information here.
