Come and see a little bit of Tibetan culture, song and dance in this unique event that welcomes Nyima Lhamo as main event speaker.  Nyima is the niece of renowned Tibetan monk and environmentalist Tenzin Delek who was falsely imprisoned and routinely tortured in a Chinese prison.  Tenzin passed away in suspicious circumstances after 13 years imprisoned.  His niece will be speaking tonight of escaping her homeland under threat of the Chinese authorities to tell the World of her Uncle’s life as an advocate for peace, his false imprisonment and murder and the continued oppression that exists for Tibetans in Tibet today.

Her family who she left in Tibet continue to be harassed by the Chinese authorities who threaten persecution of her family unless she stops her advocacy for the late Tenzin Delek.
