Bonfire Night at Rockaway Park

For Bonfire Night, Rockaway Park are putting on a special event with Winter warming vegan roasts, open studios, an arts market and a fire pit. For children and their parents/carers, there’s also a scavenger hunt, apple bobbing, sparklers and junk modelling to create a structure to burn on the bonfire!

Adult Vegan Roast Options

  • Stuffed Squash – Roasted squash with mixed grains and veg cheesy filling. Served with roasties, side veg and gravy. (GF)
  • ‘Steak’ & Ale Pie – Home-made seitan ‘steak’ chunks, lots of lovely veg, rich boozy sauce and a golden, crispy pastry. Served with root veg mash, seasonal veg and gravy. (No GF option)
  • Shepherd’s Pie – With a base made from veggies, mushrooms and soy mince, topped with mashed potato. Served with seasonal greens and gravy. (GF)
  • Nut Roast – Served with roast potatoes, seasonal greens and gravy. (GF)

Child’s Vegan Options 

  • Mac ‘N’ Cheese – A comfort food classic, topped with home-made seitan bacon and served with a side of seasonal veg.
  • Jacket Potato – With cheesy veg and bean topping. (GF option available)

Please note that the festivities start at 4pm and roast dinners are being served between 4pm and 6pm.  This event is free to attend, with a £5 parking fee, and you’ll need to book your roast in advance via the Vegan Cafe page.
