A former school near Yeovil has been put on the market, priced at nearly £2 million.
The location at Chilton Cantelo, which most recently housed The Park School, includes more than 17 acres of land and more than 50,000sq ft of property.
At the centre of the plot is the grand main school building, dating back to the 18th century.
The Park School, which had taught children in the area for 169 years, closed in May 2020 after just two years in Chilton Cantelo due to financial struggles.

The independent school moved from its old Yeovil town centre site, where it had been situated for more than a century, to the location near Sparkford in the summer of 2018.
The move failed to result in an anticipated increase in pupils and a failure to sell off its old site at its expected value led to the school losing money.
Now, the historic site is up for sale, with the listing including the main school building, as well as a stable, a number of separate classroom blocks, a gym, a workshop, a caretaker’s cottage and several sports pitches.
You can take a look inside the property in the video below.
The site has Grade II Listed Building Status specifically applying to the main house, the stables and the curved walls and gate piers to the stableyard area.
Alder King, a property consultancy, is marketing the property with a guide price of £1,950,000.
