It’s team news day for the derby.

The traditional West Country derby kicks off Round 21 of the Gallagher Premiership on Tuesday night when Bath Rugby host historic rivals Gloucester Rugby at The Rec.

To make the occasion even greater there will be 1,000 fans in Bath’s home ground for the first time since rugby returned in August with both club having already been involved with pilot events which same reduced socially distanced crowds admitted.

The two sides come into the game in very different places with Bath flying high in third place in the table, with a chance to move into second the home semi-final spot with victory in midweek. The Cherry and Whites in contrast are eighth place and need to gain a point from their last two games of the season to ensure they book a place in the Heineken Champions Cup next season.

Team news is expected at midday on Monday.

The game kicks-off at 5.30pm on Tuesday.
