Wessex Water set to recruit 40 apprentices to work across the Bath region.
Bath Racecourse has new branding reflecting the venue’s heritage and celebrates the opening of its new facilities which include a luxury grandstand overlooking the final furlong and a new hospitality stand.
Spectators at the Bath Half can enjoy spotting celebrities on Sunday 13 March as the 15,000 strong field makes its way round the 13.1 mile course.

Golf In Bath

Bath’s history of building ships dates back to 1607. Bath Golf Club

Bath Golf Club, established in 1880, has one of England’s finest and oldest inland courses. The 18 hole, 6505 yard, par 71 course may not be the length that today’s course designers favour, but in the 1880s they knew how to create a challenge using the natural contours of a hilltop location. Kingsdown Golf Club

Founded in 1880, Kingsdown Golf Club has outlived all but 12 English Clubs and it is the second oldest Golf Club in the West of England (behind Westward Ho!) and the oldest Club in Wiltshire and very close to Bath.
